What is important in this election is what the people want. The community's vision for itself is what counts, not the claptrap of political gamesmanship. Politicians and parties are full of promises and generalities, but short on facts and economic realities. Instead of people grabbing for power we need a Government that encourages community thinking, listens to what people say, and develops long term goals and plans to achieve them.
We must always remember that governments only govern with the consent of the people who elect them: people need to realise that and governments should never forget it!
